Photo project "Lost in paradise" (2019), investigates the interdependence between humans, industry, money and Californian nature. California is famous for the beauty of its nature, modern companies and glamorous people. But when I was there, it was winter, a cold one for California, I heard, and it looked sad and empty to me. Homeless people were freezing; car-human hybrids occupied big cities, small towns and spaces between them. The beach was empty. The nature has worked hard to reject the oppressive civilization by evoking earthquakes, fire, and eventually persistent rain.I was looking for the famous Californian soul, but I found melancholy and social decoupling.
